Intel 750 SSD No Longer Recognized After Installation of Samsung 970 Pro M.2 drive

Hi, I have long enjoyed my 400GB Intel 750 PCIe SSD on the Gigabyte ZA-170X Gaming 6 motherboard for my Intel 6th generation processor (Skylake) system running Windows 10. OS and BIOS are up to date. I decided to install a Samsung 970 Pro 1TB drive on an M.2 slot for extra storage. As soon as I did this, I got Windows error code 0xc00000e and the operating system would not boot. After hours of desperation, I installed Windows again on the Samsung, and it recognizes the Samsung drive, but not the Intel 750. I think I have all the correct BIOS settings. Is there possibly some sort of conflict that occurs by installing two drives of this type? Is there an external enclosure that works with the 750 so I could at least access the data while attempting to solve this issue? Thanks!
Ben
