This week I bought a Intel 530 series 180 GB for my Medion Akoya E1232T notebook to replace the 500gb hdd (installed: Ubuntu 16.04 and Windows 10 dual boot)
The product code of the 530 series = SSDSC2BW180A4K5 / version G88473-201.
I prefered a clean install, so I downloaded from the Microsoft site Windows 10 ISO (USB setup)
Unfortunately Windows 10 did not recognised the SSD and asked for a driver.
I have tried the same with Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 and they both recognised the SSD and work both very fast with the SSD.
I also tried to update the firmware of the SSD but the ISO (Fissdfut_2.1.5.iso) did not boot. All other ISO's (Linux, Windows ect boot without any problems)
Has anyone a solution for me so that I can install Windows 10?
Thanks in advance.
